Test Automator – Sri Lanka
Chakray is seeking a skilled Test Automator to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber, Gherkin, and Playwright, ensuring the highest quality of our IT integration and digital transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Gherkin (Cucumber) and JavaScript (Playwright).
- Implement Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to define application behaviour in a clear, maintainable manner.
- Regularly update automated scripts to align with changing requirements and ensure optimal efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Generate and analyse test reports to identify software defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to align test automation with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in test automation, particularly with Cucumber, Gherkin, and Playwright.
- Strong understanding of software development and QA processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in software testing or a related field are advantageous.
